Ingredients
Scale
- 1 large head of cauliflower, cut into bite-sized florets
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 3/4 cup milk (or plant-based milk for a vegan option)
- 1 cup buffalo sauce
- 2 tablespoons melted butter (or vegan butter)
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, mix together the flour, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Add the milk to the dry ingredients and whisk until you have a smooth batter.
- Dip each cauliflower floret into the batter, ensuring it is fully coated, and shake off any excess.
- Place the florets in a single layer in the air fryer basket. You may need to cook them in batches depending on the size of your air fryer.
- Cook for 15-18 minutes, turning once halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
- While the cauliflower is cooking, combine the buffalo sauce and melted butter in a small saucepan over low heat, stirring until well mixed.
- Once the cauliflower is cooked, toss it in the buffalo sauce mixture until evenly coated.
- Return the coated cauliflower to the air fryer for an additional 2-3 minutes to set the sauce.
