2 tablespoons cornstarch

1/4 cup water

1 teaspoon lemon juice

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine cherries and sugar. Cook over medium heat until the cherries release their juices, about 5 minutes.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk cornstarch and water until smooth. Add this mixture to the saucepan.
  3. – Stir continuously and cook until the mixture thickens, about 23 minutes.
