Learn how to make delicious Pull Apart Pizza Bread. Easy recipe with step-by-step instructions.

  • Total Time: 45 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 packet (2 1/4 teaspoons) instant yeast
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup warm water (about 110°F)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup pizza sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 cup chopped pepperoni or your favorite pizza toppings

Feel free to customize your pizza bread with other toppings, such as olives, bell peppers, or mushrooms, to suit your family’s tastes.

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F. Grease a bundt pan or a large loaf pan with a bit of olive oil.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the flour, instant yeast, sugar, and salt. Add the warm water and olive oil, mixing until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for about 5 minutes, or until it becomes smooth and elastic.
  4. Place the dough in a lightly greased bowl, cover it with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until it doubles in size.
  5. Punch down the risen dough and roll it out into a large rectangle on a floured surface. Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the dough.
  6. Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, oregano, garlic powder, and your chosen toppings evenly over the sauce.
  7. Cut the dough into squares, about 2 inches each. Stack the squares on top of each other and place them into the prepared pan, creating a layered effect.
  8. Cover the pan with a cloth and let the dough rise again for about 20 minutes.
  9. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly and melted.
  10. Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before serving. Enjoy the bread warm, pulling apart each cheesy, delicious piece.
