Instructions

  1. Start by preparing your cucumbers and onions. Slice them thinly, about 1/8 inch thick, and set them aside in a large bowl.
  2. In a saucepan, combine the vinegar, water, sugar, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat, stirring until the sugar is completely dissolved.
