Perfectly Thick Broccoli Casserole

A creamy and hearty broccoli casserole with a crunchy topping, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

4 cups fresh broccoli florets, steamed

1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded

1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded

1 cup sour cream

1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup

1/4 cup mayonnaise

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1/4 teaspoon salt

1 cup breadcrumbs

2 tablespoons melted butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine steamed broccoli, cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese, sour cream, cream of mushroom soup, mayonnaise, garlic powder, black pepper, and salt. Mix well.
  3. Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish, spreading it out evenly.
  4. In a small bowl, combine breadcrumbs with melted butter. Sprinkle this mixture evenly over the casserole.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the casserole is bubbling around the edges.
  6. Let it cool for 5 minutes before serving.
