Dry Ingredients:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
Wet Ingredients:
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup apples, peeled and finely chopped
Cinnamon Swirl:
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, and granulated sugar.
- In another bowl, beat eggs, milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
- Gradually mix wet ingredients into dry ingredients until just combined.
- Fold in chopped apples.
- Pour half the batter into the greased loaf pan.
- Sprinkle half of the cinnamon sugar mixture.
- Repeat with remaining batter and cinnamon sugar.
- Use a knife to swirl the mixture gently.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Let cool for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
- Slice and enjoy!
Notes
- Best enjoyed warm with butter or cream cheese.
- Can be stored at room temperature for up to 3 days.
